Photo One or Snow
I call photo number one snow, because to me that looks like somewhere up north where their is no hunan "touch" on that piece of the environment it really feels like the world has been completely restored and we are starting fresh. The point of view and the focal point really sell this photo to me as just the natural beauty that the world has to offer. From the way I feel this photo has a interesting point of view and a sense of mystery. I was able to use the worlds lighting to create a good glow in the background. I had my phone and it took that picture pretty well I went down to my waist and snapped the picture up at an angle. I think I gave it a sense of meaning kind of lile the worlds starting over and lets hope we don't mess it up this time.
Photo Two or "Endless Road of Life"
In this picture I like to think that i followed the repletion of the painted dotted lines as well as the rule of thirds with the road not being exactly in the middle of the picture with it off a little to the left. This picture to me also has a very strong middle field and a very strong foreground that accents the picture. For the technical aspects of the photograph I believe the contrast and the white balance is almost perfect it makes the picture pop without the viewer "throwing up inside" due to such bright colors. The focus level is also right on point for this photograph. For artistic aspects of the photo it has a good sense of mood, strong colors along with an interesting point of view. I took the photo again from my hip with my phone but it still came out very well, I controlled the lighting by holding my hand over the flash to make it appear a little darker than it should of been.
Photo Three or "The Old Abyss"
This photograph is truly one in a million I like how it looks like its 1885 and it just goes on and on for a very long time due to the repetition of the schools brick and rock patterns. The leading lines of this photo are very strong along with the space in between the light posts the posts sort of lead you through the photo like and old gym floor cracks to a wall. For some of the technical aspects I kept in mind a large depth of field, along with having a darker Iso to create a more unique white balance. Artistically the photo has a strong overall meaning that not everything in life is "sunshine and lollipops" in life and sometimes to quote Ferris Buller "You have to stop and smell the roses every now and again" It also has a strong sense of mystery and overall a dark composition. This picture is different I took it at my head in stead of my waist I wanted it to be higher up. I considered the long distance to add to the mystery. The point of view really sells the picture and it's deep meaning behind it.
